The Law No. 6735 on International Labor Law was published in the Official Gazette on 13.08.2016 and repealed the Law No. 4817 on Work Permits for Foreigners. Hereafter, references to Law No. 4817 shall be deemed to have been made to Law No. 6735 in the other laws and the innovations introduced by Law No. 6735 are as follows:
Definitions New in Law 6735
Turquoise Cards: alien, the permanent right to work in Turkey, according to the legislation if the child is required to spouses and looked right of residence of that document Independent work permit: Foreigners in Turkey in the work permit giving the right to work in their own name and account
Indefinite work permits: Foreign work permit that an unlimited right to work in Turkey work permit exemption: Ministry issued as an official document and validation work without a work permit foreigners to Turkey in the period and exemptions that the right of residence (no need to take any work permit foreign certificate of employment and residence.
Authorized brokerage house: An institution or organization whose qualifications and mandate are determined by regulation and authorized by the Ministry (to be regulated by regulations)
Duration of legal work permit: The period in which the foreigner works with the work permit by fulfilling the legal obligations (eg 5 months work permit issued by the Bulgarian Mr. A working at company X)
Scope of the Law and the New Board
This law includes:
1. Foreigners working in or who apply to work in Turkey
2. foreigners who are located in or next to an employer to see in the application to see vocational education in Turkey
3. the applicant or intern to intern foreigners in Turkey
4. Natural and legal persons who applied to run or running foreigners in Turkey
5. Foreigners who are exempted from obtaining work permits shall be executed in accordance with the provisions of this Law.
Labor Law Advisory Board was established with this Law. This newly formed board will also participate in the determination of international labor policies (Article 4 of Law no. 6735).
