In cases where the states are insufficient in the field of energy and natural resources, the investments in these areas have been made by the Legal Entities and the need in the sector has been met. it made it necessary to regulate the energy resources, their use, energy production and consumption. Energy and Natural Resources Law; It is a branch of law that regulates the determination, development, use, operation, evaluation, control and protection of renewable and non-renewable resources and holds different fields such as Commercial Law, Administrative Law, Competition Law and Zoning Law.
Energy and Natural Resources Law is regulated by many different laws; Law No. 3154 on Kanunu Law on Organization and Duties of the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources 46, Law No 6446 on Kullanım Electricity Market Law En, Law no. Market Law “and No. 2690” Turkey Atomic Energy Agency Law “is considered one of the main laws. Although there are many laws and regulations in the field of Energy and Natural Resources Law, there are no current academic studies due to frequent legislative changes. Therefore, regular monitoring of international studies is important.
